Lexi Viernes

Lexi Viernes is a California native, where she began dancing at the age of five with the Shely Pack Dancers in Half Moon Bay, CA. Under the direction of Shely Pack Manning, Lexi discovered her passion for dance early, and went on to perform & compete across the country and internationally, with recognized organizations such as Dance Masters of California, Dance Masters of America, and American Dance Awards. She continued her academic and artistic career at the University of California Irvine, graduating with a BFA in Dance Performance. At UC Irvine, she worked closely with Dr. Sheron Wray as a three year member of the UCI Jazz Dance Ensemble, and performed for 2 years as a member of the Etude Dance Company under the direction of Modern Dance legend, Donald Mckayle. Since college, Lexi has performed as a ballet girl with the 2nd national tour of Billy Elliot the musical, and was seen in TV Commercials for Zoho Software company. Recently, Lexi has finished her 2nd contract with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines as Dance Captain. Besides performing, Lexi enjoys teaching and choreographing, with her last choreographic work winning her a spot as a choreographer finalist at the McCallum Theatre Choreography Festival in Palm Desert, CA. She is thrilled to be a a new member of the Patmon Dance Project here in New York City and can't wait to see what's in store.
