Our Mission
Patmon Dance Project is an organization deeply committed to creativity, community, and education. For a fairly new organization, we have created quite the buzz. Patmon Dance Project seamlessly combines ballet, modern, and contemporary dance styles with theater to create an unforgettable experience. We have performed in several showcases throughout the country. With passionate women of color at the helm and a diverse group of dancers, we are able to lead with a unique voice and vision; a perspective which allows for close ties to the growth and development of young creatives in underserved populations. We teach classes and workshops for young dance artists and professional dancers. Artist collaboration and our role as educators in the community fuels our mission to challenge perspectives and create positive change.
